Location : By Air- The closest airport is at Bagdogra, which is 124-km from Gangtok (about 4 hours drive) and connected by air with all-important Indian Metros.
By Rail- The nearest railhead is at New Jalpaiguri, which is 125-km (about 4 hours drive) from Gangtok. NJP is well connected with all major cities of India.
By Road- Gangtok is connected with Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Siliguri by the national highway 31 A. It is a 10-12 hour journey from Kolkata.

Food : momo, a steamed dumpling containing pork, beef and vegetables cooked in a doughy wrapping and served with watery soup, thukpa, served in soup chowmein, thanthuk, fakthu, gyathuk and wonton. Churpee, a kind of hard cheese made from cow's or yak's milk is sometimes chewed. the dried fish, yak's cheese (churpi), and yeast for making the local beer (tomba). Chhang is a local frothy millet beer traditionally served in bamboo tankards and drunk through bamboo or cane straws.

Day 01: Delhi – Gangtok

Arrive NJP Rly Station / Bagdogra airport, Transfer to Gangtok & Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02: Gangtok

Early morning Breakfast – Next visit Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok - Rumtek Monastery - Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom– Back to Hotel or Lunch on the way – After lunch to Ban Jhakri falls, Ranka Monastery and flower show - Evening stroll M G Road - Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 03: Gangtok

EExcursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake - Early morning breakfast - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place - Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen - Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way - Visit to flower show at White Hall - Evening one is free to stroll around - Over night stay at Gangtok.

Day 04: Gangtok – Delhi

Departure - Early morning after breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or railway station .Proceed your journey.
